Derrick Woodward

Derrick Woodward is founder and President of Enterprise Allies, which is a Lakeside, Montana based firm that provides virtual outsourced finance, accounting and other administrative services to small and medium sized business and not-for-profit organizations in the United States. 

Derrick specializes in accounting, operations and tax matters on behalf of small and midsize businesses and non-profits.  His focus is to assist clients in transitioning their legacy accounting and administrative systems to Enterprise Allies’ state-of-the art financial management systems, and he consults on state and local tax matters with all our clients.

In 2011 and 2012 Derrick served as compliance manager in the national office at Moss Adams LLP, the tenth largest accounting and business consulting firm in the United States.  He also provided controllership for several of the firm’s subsidiary companies, including the investment banking firm.  In 2013 he worked in the Tax Specialty Group as a client services manager in the State and Local Tax practice.  Prior to his experience at Moss Adams, he held key operational and accounting roles with a large Arizona based federal government contractor in the health services arena, several not-for-profit organizations, captive insurance companies and a family-owned wholesale and retail building materials company.

Derrick serves in various civic and faith-based service organizations, putting his financial, accounting and operations acumen to work on behalf of his local community.

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Washington and Montana Society of CPAs, and the Tax Section of the American Institute.  Derrick holds a BA in Accounting and Information Systems Management from Seattle Pacific University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
